Which is how I ended up in London. I travelled here by stowing away in a
ship’s lifeboat eating only marmalade. It was hard finding a home and fitting
in in a city I don’t know. You see, you don’t get many bears around here.
But the Brown’s found me at the station and welcomed me to Windsor Gardens.
I have a bear name too,
but it proved rather difficult to
pronounce. Mrs Brown gave me
my English name Paddington,
after the station.
